Ahu Te Peu

Ahu Te Peu is located on the coast, in the northwest of the island, less visited. The interest here are not the Moaïs, as you will only find here vestiges of little important statues. But you can discover here the remains of a village, with the circular constructions to protect the crops, the remains of house-boats, the traditional habitat of the islanders. There is also an impressive lytic structure supporting the Ahu.
